Who is really welcome?

Over the last year, I have been thinking extensively about the Church’s treatment of the LGBTQ+ Community. There are more churches than not who do not publicize their views on this topic. These churches tend to be non-LGBTQ+ affirming. To me, this is the worst hypocrisy.

Basically, the message is this:

Dear Member of the LGBTQ+ Community,

You are welcome to sit in our seats, you are more than welcome to give us money! Heck, we’re sinners, too! You can serve in our “inconsequential ministries” — but you cannot lead in the church and you…
